@itvnews: Supermarkets across Europe have been hit by a suspected cyber-attack targeting fridge and freezer systems. Stores in Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg and Estonia have reported disruption, with temperatures in one Swedish supermarket reportedly reaching 50°C. ICA, Coop and Carrefour are among those impacted, alongside IKEA, which has confirmed one of its Belgian stores was affected. It follows similar disruption at hundreds of supermarkets in France last month. #europe #cyberattack #ikea #supermarkets #cybersecurity

I think a lot of us are starting to realise just how important it is to be prepared, especially when you've got a family to think about. If you're not sure where to start, have a look at The Prepared Home. It's full of sensible, practical ideas that don't cost a fortune. No doom and gloom, just useful advice to help you feel a bit more confident about whatever life throws your way. Really worth checking out! Amazon of course

The first word ever revealed wasn't
The first word ever revealed wasn't "pray". It was "Read" — and it was meant for you. 🤍 When did you last open His words like they were sent down for you? Comment "read" if you're picking up the Quran today 🤍 Share this with someone who needs to begin again. This is where it all started. On a mountain above Makkah, in the cave of Hira, the first words of the Quran came down — not about fear, but about reading, the pen, and the One who taught humanity everything it knows. Then the surah turns: the moment a person thinks they need no one, they cross every line. Abu Jahl — named in the tafsir — once threatened to stop the Prophet ﷺ from praying at the Kaaba. The answer ends with the most beautiful command in the surah: do not obey him — prostrate, and draw near. "Read, [O Prophet,] in the Name of your Lord Who created — created humans from a clinging clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who taught by the pen — taught humanity what they knew not. Most certainly, one exceeds all bounds once they think they are self-sufficient. [But] surely to your Lord is the return [of all]. Have you seen the man who prevents a servant [of Ours] from praying? What if this [servant] is [rightly] guided, or encourages righteousness? What if that [man] persists in denial and turns away? Does he not know that Allah sees [all]? But no! If he does not desist, We will certainly drag him by the forelock — a lying, sinful forelock. So let him call his associates. We will call the wardens of Hell. Again, no! Never obey him [O Prophet]! Rather, [continue to] prostrate and draw near [to Allah]." Surah Al-Alaq (96) — the first revelation #Quran #AlAlaq #FirstRevelation #Iqra #Islam
