I rescued a street kitten. He would flip out if he could see the bottom of his food dish. I had him for 17 years and that behavior never changed. Still the best cat I’d ever had 🥰

I think it’s great that you’re taking in this little kitten but at the same time why are you making it beg for the food since that’s what it’s used to just give up the food

We keep food in our cats’ food bowls all the time except to wash them. Then, we fill them back up again. We currently have 2 rescue cats and 1 that was given to us as a kitten. The 2 rescues are calmer than our non-rescue if the bottom of their bowl happens to show!

I understand that I'm feeling to stray cats now but they have their little outside houses because the lady that live down the street moved out and left her kittens behind but that's okay I will take care of them🙏

I rescued the dog from my neighbor’s breaking bad house and the cat from my backyard. I think it took them each a week to realize the food was for them and no one was going to take it away.
