No - Fahey was not why they lost. I actually thought he played pretty well. Did he miss a couple throws - sure. Did he have a couple drop - yes.

Add in the 7 drops his receivers had, the fumble his rb had. He didn’t have that bad of a game, a few costly overthrows no doubt but you can’t expect perfections from a true freshman backup for his first ever start. His team did not help him at all

Not Faheys issue....he's fine. We got a host of other issues all over the map and IMO we aren't championship caliber

i’ll say this as i am a buckeye fan and heavily watch their games and keep up with what’s going on in practice. there’s a reason we’re not starting our 6’4 5 star, something is going on behind the scenes but what i’ve heard is he can’t read a defense to save his life. the most important part of playing qb is taking care of the football which he hasn’t proved he can do it consistently. fahey on the other hand is a baller and although he hasn’t shown it yet, its more so on day playing to not lose instead of trying to win. fahey is a smart player and although he lacks size, he can move around in the pocket and take care of the football. if we let him go do his thing instead of being scared to lose the game, it would have been much different. tsc deserves a shot 100 %, but there’s a reason why he’s not starting and to have those physical attributes and not get the nod is a little head scratching, but like said it comes down to taking care of the football and fahey has been better at that so that is why he’s got the nod. sorry for the essay but tired of seeing people talk about this but don’t really know what’s going on in the organization

Does Tavien play defense? That’s what cost the Buckeyes the game. Couldn’t stop the run. USC converted a 3rd and 18 with a running play but a different quarterback is the answer.

This is what makes me mad. Why not take these shots down field that could get us 20+ yards instead of running it up the middle for maybe 2/3 yards?! Let our receivers do what they do!
