question, have you ever had a omnipod? if you have do you prefer this pump more? and why? my boyfriend struggles with the omnipods sometimes and we feel like he's definitely wasting a lot of insulin that way

I'm not diabetic but I know that youre supposed to change the infusion site every 3 days. why is that? are you able to leave it longer? sorry I'm just curious

Im 16 and got diabeties, cus im still in the kids ward I like my tubes and pump on show so kids can see it, its nice to see them happy that others are diabetic to ๐ญ๐ gonna rob your idea now to wear it on my arm

I wonโt waste mine ๐. I already wasted so many because they just fail. I place them I go high, I give bolus stay high going up. I check pull the site off en the thingy is bent and was never in my skin. I get so mad ๐ญ

I usually hide the tubing down my shirt with my arm, its comfortable and dosent snag on anything^^

i always insert my new tube into the old infusion set for a good 12 hrs, for some reason i think the trauma of the inserter makes the tissues at my new site swell and stops the insulin getting through. nod had any stubborn changeover highs since ive started doing it this way.

I feel like i'd rip my tandem out of my arm?!? I rip my dexcoms out in that same spot, and imo, pump sites are more painful... so I'm scared!
