@themodpun: For me, it’s never been about simply being a Black Republican. It’s about refusing to believe that my community has to settle for less. I’m a mother raising four children. I care about the neighborhoods they grow up in, the education they receive, and the opportunities they’ll have. And I’m tired of watching politicians make promises to families like mine, only to disappear when it’s time to deliver. I started asking questions. Where is the money going? Why aren’t things improving? Why do we keep accepting the same excuses? And why should asking those questions make me disloyal to my community? I don’t believe any political party is entitled to my support simply because of the color of my skin. My loyalty is to my family, my community, and the future we’re leaving our children. We deserve answers. We deserve accountability. And we deserve better than being taken for granted. That’s why I’m willing to challenge the status quo, even when it’s uncomfortable. Because our children can’t afford another generation of empty promises.
You can LITERALLY see the damage it's done in the numbers from the schools!

Rob :
Sensitive question. Are you ok with being called “black”? I just see you as a fellow American. I think racism ends with us not calling people black, white, brown, Asian, etc… You are an American citizen.
