@melanievasquez0531: We finally got an answer. The Commonwealth has indicated it intends to RETRY Lindsay, depending on the outcome of the three pending motions. But we STILL don’t know what charges prosecutors plan to pursue. First-degree murder again? Lesser charges? That’s the question Kevin Reddington wants answered. Kevin pushed for answers, arguing the defense needs to know what they’re preparing for. He also made it clear he wants a trial THIS SPRING and actually wants Judge Sullivan to preside, despite their heated exchanges in court. He also emphasized that Lindsay wants to be present and involved in decisions about her case. 🚨 HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW: • The Commonwealth intends to pursue a retrial. • No official trial date has been set. • March 2027 was discussed as a possibility, potentially earlier. • All three motions are still under advisement. NEXT COURT DATE: NOVEMBER 16, 2026, AT 9 AM. This will be an in-person status update and/or trial assignment hearing. And remember, everything depends on Judge Sullivan’s rulings on the double jeopardy motion, the holdout juror inquiry, and the Commonwealth’s request to restrict Kevin’s public statements. Now the big question: Will Tim Cruz pursue first-degree murder again after the jury deadlocked 11 to 1, or will the Commonwealth consider different charges?
