Instead of going for a ton of inspo pics, I decided to walk through the styles with him. One thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes inspo pics can feel more confusing than helpful when your body type or other features aren’t reflected in the mainstream images you can find easily online. Because he voiced that he was struggling with finding a style that he felt would go well with his features, I wanted to find a way to explore options that would feel affirming and body positive while helping him find the answers he needed. We landed on this versatile style that created a thicker hairline and provided a more intentional look.
