This one's for every 80s kid who walked to school in the snow, rode their bike to a whole other town without telling anybody, and somehow survived a playground made of hot metal and splinters. No Google, no seatbelts, no cell phones. Just the library, the album insert for song lyrics, and notes passed in class. We were the last generation of latchkey kids, and baked beans with sliced-up hot dogs got us through some tough times. If you got hurt, you found the Band-Aids yourself.
