ive seen the undereye eyeliner look cute and less dated when its not a thick line under the whole eye, but a thin line only on the outer corner of both the upper and bottom lid, and connected by a tiny straight wing!

its not just techniques that age badly, they also stop working with age. i used to love a more intricate eyeshadow look, but now my eyes are so hooded i got much less lid space, i prefer monochromatic simpler looks. with age also comes drier skin with fine lines, so matte products i used to love make me look dull and crepey.

this is really kindly said. I've realized as I age I cannot do intense fl face makeup. it looks ... bad. eve. if my wrinkles show through I look 200 times better with a light hand and colours that are less severe.

The only thing I can’t bring myself to change is putting foundation on all over FIRST. I just cannot get behind doing my eyes before the rest of my face. I’ve tried but I couldn’t make it work.

Best thing I did was stop wearing Matt foundation my skin is really good now too and I can wear skin tints or bb cream and I love my natural skin showing through I love a glow and I feel prettier than I ever did in my twenties lol
