Move to San Diego if you want to live in a sleepy beach city with Tijuana sewage in the ocean water. It's nightlife is mid. The museums, amusement parks, and concerts are mid at best. All the A list artists perform in LA. The food is better in LA or San Francisco. The hiking is ok if you like desert mountains. The airport has 1 runway so prices are high and not direct. SD doesn't even have a good aquarium. San Diegos is overpriced for what it lacks.
