I get it, but I didn't quit drinking because I blamed drinking for any of my problems. Lots of other people did tho. It's been over a decade since I got all those people out of my life. I wasn't unhappy because I drank, I drank because I was unhappy. Turns out drinking was never the problem.

Good on your sobriety! But my dad told me when I was a teenager. Don’t come home blaming alcohol for your f-ups. I’ve been so drunk that I couldn’t stand,but I always knew what I was doing. That has always stuck with me. He completely ruined my youth![Laugh approved]
