Increase your offer 9k it will add like 50 bucks to your monthly payment and then ask for the 9k back as a credit. It nets them the same and helps you out. There are ways around these kinda challenges. Keep your head up!

Increase your offer by 9k and ask for the 9k as a closing credit. This is a fairly common practice. However, if you're low on cash savings, maybe think about finding something a little less expensive, a different loan product, or maybe continue in your current situation if possible. good luck

Mortgage Lender here. This should have been addressed by your realtor. Have your realtor ask if the seller is willing to help with closing costs if you’ll increase your offer. Reach out to me if you need any help at all! Your lender should be give you some guidance but I see they aren’t being very helpful..

WHERE IS YOUR AGENT? WHY DIDN'T YOUR AGENT EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU? Call the BIC (broker in charge) and have them get to work on figuring stuff out. You're paying them A LOT OF MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF YOU and use REASONABLE CARE in your transaction.

You should ask your realtor if they can go back and ask if they can offer the 9k back because otherwise the deal will fall through and most likely the seller doesn’t want that and will either offer the full 9k or a part of it. Or you can increase your offer prize by $9k so that they can give you back the 9K for closing costs.
