My baby is in the NICU so I bought the Lansinoh and Pigeon bottles based on what you had said about the triangle test and my baby has the worse latch and swallows so much air. I had to switch to Dr browns narrow anti colic bottles which seems to have less air swallowed. The NICU nurses agree. No hate on you, just wondering what could be the cause?

Do you have any recommendations for a baby that won’t take a bottle? My baby boy is almost 7 months and has been exclusively breastfed other than a few times and took a bottle just fine until around 5 months now I can not get him to take a bottle. I’ve tried evenflo bottles wide and standard, lansinoh, dr browns, and a few others and he refuses them all I’ve also tried frozen breast milk, fresh breast milk and I’ve even tried formula and nothing. I also tried to leave him with my mother in law to see if he would take a bottle without me around and he refused for hours until I got home. I’m at a loss and have to return to work soon and not sure what to do

Is there such things as a bottle that promote deep latches that also later on you can buy the straw conversion kit! A plastic free options like glass and silicone! Would love to find a silicone bottle that I later can turn into a straw cup where daycares in my area have a no glass policy!

My baby responded really well with Gulicola bottles. His latch was deep but had to upgrade the nipples the minute I saw it collapse.

I have the evenflo narrow bottles and the standard Dr brown bottles and my baby is mainly just breastfeeding but I need him to take a bottle when I go back to work. So I have been giving him those but so much milk leaks from his mouth. His lips reach the base of the bottle but his latch is just not the best. How do I improve this or do I just switch bottles? Or should I get a slower flow nipple. It’s a level 1 right now.

My baby has tried both Evenflo wide neck and standard, as well as dr browns. Everything is xtra slow flow in nipple size but the milk pools out of his mouth and he loses his suction with like every swallow. We are trying Philips now. Even though the latch is shallow, he seems to swallow way less air. Idk if these are built with every baby in mind 😭
