On November 1, 2026, 108 sacred chortens (Buddhist stupas) were raised as part of Project 108 in Gelephu Mindfulness City. And in another beautiful chapter of the Walk for Peace journey, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck graciously welcomed Most Venerable Ratanaguṇa, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra, and members of the visiting Sangha. But what touched my heart most wasn’t the royal recognition or the magnificent monuments. It was the humility, generosity, and collective spirit behind it all. A king serving his people. Monastics sharing the Dhamma. Communities working together with an aspiration for peace. Here in Peace Circle ⭕, we may come from different countries, faiths, and backgrounds, but we share that same simple aspiration. We don’t need a crown or a robe to practice compassion. We can begin right where we are. Peace is not only something we wish for.
