I already voted and you got my vote. I am not republican and normally vote more for Democrats just because they are more representative of what I want in policies. All that being said I’m sorry you’re being represented in a way just for political gain. That’s why we need a change. When we could disagree on policy and still find a way to compromise and get bills passed to help everyone. I hope that the way you will be.

Let’s talk Scottish food — because if you’re anything like me, trying local dishes is half the reason you travel. I’ll eat almost anything (except fermented shark in Iceland because no absolutely not), and Scotland is a *severely* underrated food destination imo. Here are my favorite Scottish foods that are totally worth trying — 🍬 Tablet – If you know, you know. If you don’t, it’s NOT fudge. It’s sweeter, crumblier, and somehow even better. Why aren’t more people obsessed with this? I think it’s one of the most slept-on treats in Scotland. Try it fresh. You’ll see. 🥧 Haggis – Look, I know what it is. I still think you need to try it. Start with deep-fried haggis balls or a haggis-stuffed pie. Both are delicious and beginner-friendly. Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tasted it. Trust me. 🍲 Cullen Skink – A creamy smoked haddock soup that changed my life. I had it at Deacon Brodie’s in Edinburgh and now I make it at home. Nobody talks about it, but it’s lowkey one of the best things I’ve eaten in Scotland. 🍓 Cranachan – Creamy, boozy, and packed with raspberries and toasted oats. Idk but it’s incredible . 🍪 Shortbread – Your stale Walkers from Marshall’s doesn’t count. Get fresh shortbread in Scotland. 🥃 And of course — Irn Bru and whisky. You can’t leave without at least trying them! There are so many other Scottish dishes worth trying, but if I had to narrow it down, these are my go-tos.
