@dude00029: His mother wrote to me today, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. This is Hamza. He is 8 years old. Hamza's upper and lower jaws don't line up, so he can't chew food like other children. In his mother's words: "He dreams of eating like other children, without pain or difficulty." He wears an outside appliance 16 hours a day to correct his jaw — and while he wears it, he cannot eat or drink. Sometimes he cries and refuses to wear it, because he is exhausted. Other children bully him for his teeth. His treatment will take 3 to 4 years and costs $4,000. His family lost their home, they live in tents, and they have no income. His mother again: "He deserves to eat, smile, and feel confident like every other child." And her words from before still stand: "My son Hamza has suffered enough. Please don't forget him." So let's not forget him. 🤍 https://chuffed.org/project/190838-please-help-noura-provide-basic-necessities-for-her-family #family #help #Love
