@north.suffolk.psychiatry: That one-hour shift can throw off more than your clocks. Earlier sunsets and a disrupted sleep rhythm can leave you feeling groggy, irritable, unmotivated, or just “off.” Use this weekend to reset: ☀️ Get morning light. Step outside within an hour of waking, even on cloudy days. ⏰ Keep a steady wake-up time. Try to keep it the same on Saturday and Sunday. 📵 Dim the screens. Put your phone down 30–60 minutes before bed. ☕ Cut caffeine after 2 PM. Your 9 PM self will thank you. 🛋️ Wind down on purpose. Read, stretch, or take a warm shower. Sleep and mental health are closely connected. If you’re having trouble sleeping most nights, or low mood or anxiety are keeping you up, it may be time to talk with someone. We’re here to help. 💚 📞 (757) 758-6001 📧 [email protected] #SleepHealth #FallBack #WeekendReset #NorthSuffolkPsychiatry #SuffolkVA
