Loving you is the sweetest madness my heart has ever known. For I who once stood fearless beneath a thousand storms tremble at the gentlest whisper of your name. My beloved, if affection were a language I would spend my days inventing words worthy of you. I would learn the rhythm of your laughter, the secrets behind your smiles and each quiet wish you dare not speak aloud…..and when the years have bent my shoulders and stolen the strength from my sword, I shall still reach for your hand as though it were first springtime of my life. Let the bards sing of heroes and their noble deeds: I ask for no such song.
