General rule: You NEVER give someone someone else's number, address or anything of that sort without consulting that person first! Tell the ex "Write down your number for me, I'll ask her and if she's ok with it, she can text you." Doesn't matter if you think it's harmless, it's not your place to give out someone else's information without consent.

what is sad is this was my exact life. I had to change my name, run with a child due to my ex and my own mother who adored my abusive ex told him exactly where I lived. even pointed the windows out! told him my child's school and even what Dr's we was with and would probably move too. I hate that it makes me sad knowing many women and girls had the same things happen
