@emmieduke: at the start of this year, i had a mental breakdown and spent 4 months off work on sick leave. back then, i genuinely didn’t know how i was going to get myself back to where i needed to be. fast forward to now and i’ve just got a promotion. life is crazy like that. sometimes you have to lose people, lose yourself a little and go through things you never thought you’d get through to realise just how strong you actually are. not everyone is meant to come with you into your next chapter, and sometimes losing the wrong people makes room for the right things to find you. i’m learning to appreciate the little things, give myself more credit and be proud of the person i’m becoming. i’m not where i want to be just yet, but i’m a million miles away from where i was. if you’re in a dark place right now, please don’t think that’s where your story ends. 🤍 #personalgrowth #mentalhealthjourney #HealingJourney #careerprogression #selfgrowth
