This literally happened to me lmao the door lock broke the first day and they didn’t fix it until we left and he still tried charging me $165 bc even tho he thinks we didn’t do it on purpose, it happened during our stay 🙄🙄

The idea of Airbnb to start was great. Rent out your extra room or extra space. Cheaper for the guest than a hotel, host makes a little money. Turned into a shittier, more expensive version of a hotel (some are still good though)

I always do a video whenever I first walk in and when I check out and state the date and time when filming. My family looks at me like I'm crazy when I do 😂

I had a company try to put damages on me because the a/c was broken and they needed to work on it for two days. It was winter so house wasn’t hot. I guess they thought about and wanted to pin damages on me since they thought I was going to complain to Airbnb about the a/c. Read the reviews after and it was a habit of theirs according to reviews

the one time i stayed in an air b&b, it was an illegally subletted basement apartment in Chicago. woke up to water on the concrete floor every day due to flooding and i was worried about my car being towed the whole time bc the parking pass was just a laminated sticker for the neighborhood. i dont think we got charged extra for anything at least. we just used it to sleep so like. not the worst, but it shouldn't have cost more than maybe 50/night

I had a Sunday check in & was told the doorman would let me in to the building. The doorman doesn’t work on Sundays! Airbnb host refused to answer me. After sitting outside for hours with my dog a neighbor finally felt comfortable enough to let me into the building where I then had the code to the actual apartment with the building keys in it!!!!!!

stayed in breckenridge for new years and our host tried to say that we burnt the grill cover on to the grill… it was like 10 degrees. we never touched the grill. why would we grill in the dead of winter in the mountain?
