@foodwithfoxcito: Food content is so oversaturated now. Actors, athletes, and musicians are making food videos to promote a project, a restaurant, or a product they own. Companies used to pay these people millions for ads. Now they’re doing food content for free because it gets attention. And by the time I scroll past all of them, I haven’t even gotten to the actual food creators yet. I’m already full. So are restaurants really getting lasting value from these viral food moments? A place blows up for a weekend, then everybody moves on to, “What’s next?” I think some owners are going to be left high and dry when that first rush fades. What do you think? Are viral food videos still helping restaurants long-term? #FoodCreators #FoodContent #RestaurantMarketing #FoodTok #CreatorEconomy food content on TikTok, celebrity food videos, food creator industry, restaurant marketing, viral restaurant videos, restaurant traffic, food influencer saturation, social media food trends, restaurant owners, creator economy

There may be many but we only trust a few. We trust your reviews will be fair and accurate, not for clicks and views.

I just started this food account because I'm going to eat at the place. I don't get paid. I got invited twice and that was it but again I'm just going to eat and figured I'd share my experience.

Facts! I think if food isn’t your true passion then you shouldn’t be doing food reviews just to make a dollar or free food. It’s def over saturated and it sure wasn’t like this before Covid. Everything nowadays is a hidden gem and 10/10. I say leave it to the professionals 👨🏻🍳

I trust the food reviews from people who live here in the state of Illinois versus someone who’s just coming to visit holds more weight,

If it’s a popular food influencer they should comp the meal and provide some compensation for an honest review. If it sucks it sucks 🤷♀️Ask them to guarantee that the food is not hot garbage 😂

At the end of the day, the creator/influencer/critic is only getting people through the door once. It’s the restaurant that has to keep them coming back. I feel like they want a cheat code but life just ain’t like that!

It sounds like you have to talk about your pedigree in your videos, a little more in order to separate yourself from the rest of these food reviewers:) you’re doing great!

They already doing them at your favorite bar in the bathroom.

Foxito! Saludos ✌️truth be told the over saturation of people entering the social media space world wide and locally give way to “wannabe creators/influencer” that lack the knowledge, drive and quality of an honest review of the gastronomy in the Chicagoland area. The easiest way is to mimick others that have paved the way for them to feel relevant in the food space. Recording yourself eating at a spot and giving it a 10/10 if foul. As you stated these are send offs. Something I learned from you 👍 I’m going to start mimicking those foul food reviewers and the first comment to guess right has lunch on me at the spot of review. 😂😂😂 ooo n a side note, have you ever thought of protecting your account by being part of an agency?
