KMART literally did that to me! I was in high school, in the work program and told them I could only work evenings and weekends. My boss reprimanded me and told me to figure out my priorities, because I couldn’t work the morning shift. I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

I was pregnant and any time I had to go to the doctors weather it was scheduled or because something was wrong it was inconvenient for her and she would roll her eyes at me and sigh loudly. one time when i was 8 months pregnant i was standing and my heart rate was 150 and I was lightheaded. I worked with firefighters and they had to assess me there and get my heart rate down so I could go to the hospital. she was pissed that I had to leave. I never went back when my maternity leave was over and im now a stay at home mom.

my husband passed out and was taking to hospital told my then job I needed to go as he was looking after our children they tried to give me a disciplinary, even though I had told a manager i had to go, told them to shove their job were the sun doesnt shine walked out and never looked back there's a reason that place has a revolving door 😏

I worked at cracker barrel. the front as a cashier but mostly they just had me walking around the store engaging with customers. most of the customers didn't want to be bothered so I just walked in slow laps around the store. the last lap I just walked out the door. 😵💫

Holiday inn & suites. My new boss was racist towards the guests and refused to talk to them even though it was her job, I told her she was horrible manager I walked out, my district manager called me and brought me back she got fired a month later

can't do the heat too well, was told to unload a sheetrock truck. got really sick and it took me and my helper forever to get them unloaded. got ripped for it. a couple of weeks later, got a bad intestinal infection that took me out of work for a week. came back, was immediately told to unload three trucks, in the heat, no breaks. took breaks, drank a ton of water, got really sick on the way back. was told that I either needed to speed up, or find somewhere else to work. I found somewhere else to work.

I was passed over for promotion for years while going above my job and people that got the position leaving or getting sacked. it finally broke me after grinding my mental health over the edge. was promoted within 6 months at my next job.

I walked out of my job back in February when I was verbally abused by my boss and her awful mother. Months of bullying culminating in a day and a half of verbal abuse. The owner even got in my face.

I worked for a family owned company. They never told their kids no to anything. 6 months in my credit card declined, a year in the fuel card declined, and then several months later they bounced payroll/expense checks and didn’t pay our healthcare. I decided I my services were no longer needed.

I recently quit my job. I couldn’t work WITH my associates. I had to do other things while telling them what to do for maybe 5 minutes and then management wanted me to start writing everyone up to get new people in.
