nobody cares about the spinoffs. most of them are complete trash. and this is coming from an Unc that has been playing them since RE1 released on the Sega Saturn. just stick to the mainline games.

to be fair resident evil has a shit ton of lore in every game including the remakes and it's hard to follow for new fans, i haven't been playing re long like a few years and i only played the newer mainline games including r2, 3 and 4 remake. But i think if you want to learn more about lore without dropping like 100+ dollars you can jst watch yt videos explainin them and you can be a fan

In my 22 years, I have played every single mainline game plus remakes and the Revelations spin-offs and I have to be honest the remakes are just better in most ways. The old ones really can't keep up at all. They absolutely deserve their flowers. I'm not arguing that, but the remakes are better
