All that sea you're seeing there used to be the old Keta town. Between 1.5km to 4km into the sea from the shore into the sea lies the once prosperous town of Keta. Keta was a major trading city in the 18th and 19th century. Over 50% of the town was lost to sea erosion and this continues today. My grandfather's house is deep in the sea. Behind all this beauty are stories of pain and loss. Tragic.

Bro what you are even seeing now is nothing compared to when we were kids this Keta beach most of it are long gone in the sea and and what’s concerning is that our presidents dont even take this serious this is one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Ghana but we don’t value it until all is gone is just so sad people of Keta can testify to what I’m saying
