i think it’s a show and ppl can mourn and be sad about any character’s death that they want bc it could be their favorite or they just miss them regardless of their significance to the plot bc it’s just a show

No I totally understand this because I was one of the #delusionals that truly thought robin would be pitgirl+ with the fake “red herring” and everybody was and even now (outside Mariana fans) were just so nasty and hateful and even after her death and the antler queens costume being re-depicted as a mentally ill girls revenge rather than a powerful cult leader they were just so hateful. Any comment about how Mari was scalped by Shauna? “SHAUNA LOST HER BABY AND HER BESTFRIEND” as if both of those weren’t her fault. I don’t and will never see Shauna as a villain for her TRUE postpartum actions “lottie beatdown” but she was effin her besties man because she wanted to effe her bestfriend and then hated her bestie for what she didn’t know and when she found out she shamed/bullied her out of the cabin and then she died.

tbh….i feel like it’s rooted in racism but nobody wants to talk about that yet. Jackie is loved and idolized (as she should be, she’s iconic!) but Mari a woc is always painted as mean, a bully, etc and never gets nearly as much attention. Mari deserves just as much love as characters like Jackie 🥹

Jackie and Mari were essentially the same person, and it was shown that they were both labeled “brats” for not wanting to survive in the fucking wilderness.. if you hate Mari, you hate Jackie.
