This was 21 years ago… severely anemic, migraines, dizziness, balance issues.. and something I’ve never heard anyone else talk about. I used to have a buzzing on the top of my head. It drove me crazy it wasn’t constant but here and there.

My doctor still hasn't tested me. I just took it upon myself to go gluten-free and noticed I didn't hurt as bad as I did when I ate gluten.

Was studying abroad one spring and about halfway through the semester, I felt super bloated and nauseous after eating, and it wouldn’t go away until maybe later in the evening. For two months, I couldn’t eat anything for most of the day because I was afraid I’d throw up. Carried into summer and just felt awful. It was six months total from first having symptoms to a getting final diagnosis 🫠 also took my gut about a year to heal… it’s been over eight years but I still can get symptoms like nausea, bloating, stomach pain, irregular bowel movements, weight loss/gain, fatigue, brain fog… I hate it all

I was diagnosed at 4 had it since birth I threw up anything that had gluten in it my mom kept having dreams about me getting lost in a store and dying so she went to a psychic and they told her to keep listening to her gut my mom brought me to lots of doctors they all said I had the flu until this amazing doctor finally listened and that’s my story of how my mom saved my life and how I’m still alive and I’m so thankful she never gave up

endoscopy is the only reliable test, I hope that's the one you plan to do ❤️❤️❤️

Severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and migraines. Got to the point where I could no longer keep food down at all and then they decided to test me for celiac disease, but before that they said I just had anxiety or was attention seeking. I was 10 when I was diagnosed and sick since I was an infant. My mom knew something was wrong but no doctor would believe her.

I was referred by gynecology to G.I. for blood in my stool. So I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and incidentally, they found a celiac. I had a ton of symptoms and should’ve been diagnosed decades earlier as a child.

Throwing up everything I ate, Anemia so bad that I had to get 2 blood transfusions and 2 iron infusions. I finally insisted on an endoscopy because I knew something was wrong in my stomach. Test came back positive for celiac and then they did a blood test to confirm.

My doctor was doing an endoscopy because I have chronic acid reflux and my throat felt like it was hard to swallow for that past year or so. They wanted to check for a few things, and accidentally found celiac disease since my villi were totally blunted. Did a blood test and it was positive. (The reflux and throat thing are unrelated but the way) 🤣🤣
