It’s extremely encouraging to see a rookie put up numbers like this. Superstar volume so far on 50 ts% and fine on turnovers. Inefficiency for a rookie is to be expected. More than cam Thomas for sure.

People definitely don’t understand that he’s literally 19 years old and 6’2. He’s so small for the NBA and he’s already putting up insane numbers. 19 years old. I’ve met 19-year olds that still use a calculator for 12x12. This dude is playing at an insane level and he’s still a teenager.

Look at his potential assists per game too. It’s not like he’s truly hogging the ball. He’s operating as an offensive engine like Luka/Jokic, just not fully polished yet and his team doesn’t hit shots.

His efficiency is surprisingly not bad for rookie taking that many shots bruh that‘s the crazy part. He‘s averaging 40/32 splits thats not worse than what ant was and other superstar guards were shootint in their rookie seasons, but on half the attempts 💀
