I lived there for many years. McLean is in Yonkers. If you head towards Katonah Ave, that’s the Bronx. As a kid in the late 1950’ McLean had many shops run by Italian and Jewish men. The “Irish butcher shop “ was formerly Supreme meats run by 2 Italians: Pasquale and Johnny. Over time, more Irish populated the area giving it the character it has today.
