I could have sworn I read a few months ago. I thought in NY Window Tint can't be the primary reason to get pulled over. You have to get pulled over for something else and then the officer can start mentioning tint too.

They need to lead by example. Stop telling people they can’t have tints on their cars, when their personal cars be having them.

I got pulled into a checkpoint in Brooklyn a few weeks ago. I noticed that all of the cars without tints were let through while the cars with tints got pulled in, mine included. Gave the officer my registration and insurance, he checked it out and let me go. Besides the tints, nothing illegal about my car. Registration and insurance is up to date, cleaning driving record, and no unpaid parking tickets or tolls.

Exactly why i dont ride major aves just stick to side streets and also ill take my tint off when they stop rocking theres on their personal cars and dt cruisers and squad cars simple
