@tinleyandtara: I got kicked yesterday. I had to be life flighted to OU MEDICAL. I have a fracture in my pelvis, my elbow, and my left hip was dislocated and pinched my nerve. We’ve got it all straightened out. God is so good. Tinley had asked to walk in with us to Watch Katy Run and something told me NO that she needed to stay behind the gate. Imagine if this mare had kicked her instead…. I believe God had me make Tinley stay back to save her. Now, as far as my injuries I am going to be okay. I didn’t die and I can walk. The rest will heal in time. As for Queen this was a freak accident. She jumped and cow kicked the absolute **** out of me. We’ve owned her a week, she’s been in someone pasture since March. She isn’t really to blame either. Queen had just run a 16.? and made a Beautiful run with Grace, and she has zero history of being a kicker. She was not malicious or trying to hurt me. It was a freak accident. I was not directly behind her she reacted out of fear and she absolutely could have killed me, or a kid. I hate to post this but someone else already shared it, and I want to make it really clear we don’t even blame the mare. It’s such a freak accident She’s never kicked before and she will probably never kick again. We’d walked in the Alley to cheer for Katy and Support her, and Grace was trying to help Katy not be nervous. It sucks it happened but God is so good and I am so grateful his mercy his grace and his protection. Especially since Tinley had just tried to follow me in the alley and I told her No, to stay outside the gate there were already too many people standing there 😮‍💨 Praise God I followed my gut feelings to make her stay outside
