we need to normalize not telling people how to grief. People grieve and cope differently. especially something as major as this, and ESPECIALLY if one has not experienced this level of grief.

you are allowed to be everything you need to be. Grief is a messy process that never ends, and you should be able to voice your uncomfortable feelings and thoughts. If grief is uncomfortable for people who aren’t grieving, i just want them to think about how awful and uncomfortable for the griever. There isn’t a right way to loose someone you love, and i am so sorry you have to get your motherhood thrown in your face. That is so so unfair. Thinking about you

Ma’am, there’s no need to worry about what others think or say about your grieving, you take as long as you need. Losing your person, best friend and husband is something only some have gone through. Everyone is different, it hits everyone differently some may never get through it (idk) but I have one of the best people I know that has gone through this loss. All I can say is I know it’s hard, I feel bad for you. You’re doing the best you can and that’s all you can. Happy belated birthday

You're allowed to grieve however you feel necessary. People never know what they would do, say, or how they would feel in your situation. I'm praying you find peace love, you're doing an amazing job. There's no handbook on grieving, you're doing great. 💕
