i feel like the main reason there wasn’t extra court involvement is the children knew it was their dad (at least the older two did) and then begged their mom not to ban them from seeing him

Now that im older, I definitely feel like Daniel isn't the victim like i thought. He was immature and made Sally Fields character take on everything. However, when they first got divorced & before he turned into Mrs doubtfire I felt like she was too hard on him when it came to the kids. It'd be one thing if he was a bad dad or abusive, but he loved his children and would do anything for them & I felt like she was keeping him away from them when she was dropping them off late and picking them up early.
