@sincerelyomaina: I think the ultimate lesson of my 20s, and especially my 29th year, was realizing that the work I was doing was less about accomplishing certain goals and more about building a solid enough foundation to hold the bigness of my life. I’m learning that I don’t need to have everything figured out to start building. That I can create a life on my own terms instead of constantly trying to fit into something. I’m entering this new decade not with all the answers (actually, far from it), but with the faith that by the grace of God and the blessing of community, I will be more than okay. And to the friends of this page who have journeyed along with me, thank you for giving me the space to share these reflections.
