She doesn’t know what happened? 🥺💔 6-year-old Ajah lost her home and her family when her owner sadly hit hard times 😔 Her owner wanted to give Ajah a chance at a better future, so they brought her to our shelter with the hopes of finding her a new loving family 🙏 This transition hasn’t been easy on Ajah, but this sweet girl remains a loving, affectionate dog who absolutely adores people ❤️ We are told she is good with kids and would happily spend her days right beside you. In fact, Ajah’s idea of the perfect day probably involves climbing right onto your lap and staying there! Our volunteers say she is super affectionate, loves getting pets, and really wants to be a lap dog ❤️ Ajah loves toys, and is generally calm, although she can get a little excited when her playful side takes over. She already knows sit and paw. She is good with other dogs, although a meet and greet is always recommended here at the shelter. Cats, however, are a different story. She is mainly afraid of them, so she would be happiest in a home without cats where she can relax and feel comfortable. Ajah has also bravely completed her heartworm treatment, and we’re here to support her every step of the way ❤️‍🩹 She needs a home where she can relax and heal 🙏 With her gentle personality, love of affection, and devotion to her people, Ajah has so much love left to give 🥹 Can you give her a second chance at happiness? 🙏 Thanks to @dollys_dream_ her adoption fee is covered and she gets to go home with supplies from the Pet Boutique to help her settle in...that could be lots of toys!
