@cravingasaving: It’s been a really tough week following round four of chemo. Physically and mentally, this one has knocked me around, and I’ve spent most of it on the couch or in bed. 🥺 My eyebrows and eyelashes have started falling out too, and while that’s not why this week has been so hard, it’s another confronting reminder of how real this all is. Just when you adjust to one change, another comes along. I’m naturally a positive person, but I’m learning that it’s okay to have days where I’m just sad, too. And cancer doesn’t just affect the person going through treatment. My husband is our absolute rock, carrying so much for me and our three kids, but I know the mental toll on him is enormous too seeing his wife so sick and struggling. To everyone who continues to check in, offer meals, send love and show up for us, even this far into our journey, thank you. Life keeps moving, but we’re still right in the thick of it, and those little gestures mean more than you’ll ever know. 🩷
