@hl_dynasty: YOU CAN AFFORD AMAZON, BUT NOT YOUR RENT? But when rent is due, suddenly the landlord is the bad guy? And judges, I’m calling you out too. DO YOUR JOB. If someone genuinely can’t afford their rent, let’s look at the facts. But stop treating every landlord like the villain. IF BAD LANDLORDS SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE THEN BAD TENANTS SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TOO #nycrealestate #brooklynrealestate #realestateinvestor #landlord #landlordproblems

I get it , but also why landlords are charging 2500 for a studio ?! The cost of living should never go up

If you can’t afford to fix the property you shouldn’t own it relying on rent for repairs is like living check to check it doesn’t make sense

As a landlord myself, I agree. My tenant (a single mother of 3) told me she got a raise at her job, and told me should could buy more stuff for her kids. And honestly that’s a waste of money, so I raised her rent a couple hundred bucks, that money should be going to me.

As a landlord make sure your apartments are worth the rent you’re charging. Make sure you keep up with maintenance, appliances, and damages. Don’t only answer the phone when it’s time to collect rent !

Renting should not be for profit period. A lot of apartments are not worth what they are charging for rent.

I agree that a landlord isn’t responsible for a tenant’s spending choices or inability to afford rent. But being a landlord comes with responsibilities too. Tenants are expected to pay rent consistently, and landlords are expected to provide basic services like running water and adequate heat, and to make sure repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner. In New York City, plenty of tenants pay high rents and still struggle to get basic issues in their apartments addressed. A tenant’s financial habits don’t excuse unpaid rent, just as a landlord’s expenses don’t excuse neglecting the apartment. Both sides have responsibilities.

As a landlord you should not assume what people do. Why don’t ya fix what you are suppose too but you don’t have money when you need to fix. Why if you collecting rent and water etc is included your excuse for raising every year is because you can’t pay your bills. But its included in the rent. Why do you cry you can’t fix things but you keep raising rent for this reason every year 150 x 12 =0 cause it’s still not fix. Why you penny pinch the heat. Why do you think tenants don’t deserve a life.

Sometimes life becomes so difficult that even a smile feels like a responsibility. Behind every happy face, there may be a thousand untold stories, silent battles, and memories that never fade away. People see me laughing, talking, and enjoying life, but nobody really knows what is happening inside my heart. I have learned to stay quiet because explaining my feelings to everyone is exhausting. Sometimes, I wish someone could understand my silence without asking me to explain everything. I never expected life to be perfect. I only wanted a little happiness, genuine love, and people who would stay when things became difficult. But life taught me that not everyone who promises to stay will keep their word. Some people come into our lives to give us beautiful memories, while others leave behind lessons that change us forever. The hardest part is not losing someone; it is accepting that the person who once made you feel special can become a stranger. Memories remain, conversations replay in the mind, and sometimes even the smallest things remind us of the past. We cannot force anyone to love us, understand us, or choose us. Sometimes, the only choice we have is to accept reality and move forward. I am tired of pretending that everything is okay, but I still believe that better days will come. I may not have everything I dream of today, but I have the courage to keep going. I have learned to expect less, trust slowly, and value my own peace. Life may not give me everything I want, but I will never stop hoping for something beautiful. One day, I hope all these silent struggles become nothing more than memories. Until then, I will keep walking, even when the road feels lonely. Because my story is not over yet, and my future deserves a chance to be happier than my past.
