snap in dentures are much cheaper! you dont have to get them right away but definitely look in to it! I have them for my top teeth and I only have 2 posts because of bone loss because I started losing my teeth at 16 and I just cant bite into anything like an apple and still have to take them out at night but soooo much better than glue and no where the cost of permanents.

I never comment but as a fellow person with genetic teeth problems I feel you. We’re trying to get me in because I potentially need a full set of teeth before I’m 30. Be ready to hate a specific soft food for a while because it gets boring and make sure it’s not your favorite. Best of luck!

Implants are crazy. I have good dental insurance and ONE implant cost me $2500 out of pocket after insurance 😭

I also have really horrible teeth genetics and got my first partial denture at like 16 I was finally able to convince my dentist to give me a bridge plate a few years ago (heavily advised not to do by my dentist)because implants are ridiculously expensive 😭

I used to work for a dental lab creating the guides for surgeons to perform full restorations. Ive even sat in a couple surgeries. I won't lie, it's a very serious surgery. You will be on liquids for a bit. But you'll get through it and be better off with dentures than without! You'd be surprised at how many people in their 20s to 30s need full mouth restoration surgery, so you're not alone. Please take care and reach out if you have any questions about this process or just need someone to talk to 😊 I also have a lab rec if you ever consider getting permanent implants. They're incredible and do a lot of work with patients who can't afford the cost of a full permanent set (lets be real, most people can't).

as a dental assistant, you can always get implants later on if you still have sufficient bone, just to keep that in mind of you are able to afford it in the future. the denture can always be converted to support implants
