@_withkyyyy: Pls do yourself (& your nervous system) a favor & save this to do before all the holiday decor comes out! We do a toy inventory about once a quarter to keep our smaller home from feeling too full - and it’s been so good for the boys too. Fewer toys out means they can see what they have, enjoy it, and help put it away 🤠 A few things that make it easier: ✨Work one category at a time - books, puzzles, stuffed animals - so it doesn’t feel overwhelming ✨ Start with the easy decisions: broken toys, missing-piece sets, duplicates, and things they’ve outgrown ✨ Have a “go back” basket for things that belong somewhere else, plus a donation bag and a trash bag ✨ Keep what fits the space you have. The goal isn’t to get rid of everything, it’s to make the toys you keep easier to find and put away ✨ If you’re unsure about something, tuck it in a closet for a month. If you or the kids don’t miss it, you’ll know what to do! ✨ Be more ruthless than you think you need to be ✨ Put the donation bag straight in the car so it doesn’t hang around the house!!!
