Wow one of my son was diagnosed with high functioning autism. I had to hospital him when he was in the 5th grade. He made a list of students he wanted to hurt. He got the help he needed. He is a 23 year old truck driver and engaged. Still to this day he doesn’t use firearms. He will call us when he is frustrated. We work through whatever the issue is.

My BFF had a son who became violent as he got older. She took everything away: his bed, sheets, gave him one outfit, and one towel. She took his door off his room. Took away all electronics. This was the first time he became violent. He pitched a fit. She gave him a tent, and said sleep in the backyard. It only took a few weeks. Then when he turned 18, he got a job, and straightened up.

my kids learned to shoot at young age but they were never given a gun or ever had access to a gun the combination to the gun safe was changed weekly when they were not around
