I think Reddington is just fed up with the nonsense. That being said, respect in the courtroom is huge. Massachusetts here. Sullivan was/is a weak judge for this case.

When I saw that, I was really surprised. But how I read it was like this: Reddington has not been given a fair shake … at all, so Red’s reached his limit. It’s almost as if Reddington KNOWS this judge is on the take or is in cahoots, so Red is calling the judge on his partial, one-sided calls. And if it’s true the judge IS related, by marriage, to the Clancy family, he needs to step down.

I thought KRed was a great lawyer (in his own right is) but he’s a big old bully and he’s aggressively rude. Treating the judge like that is one more reason to dislike him. However, I’d be pleased he he was my attorney because he plays ball!

As you were telling us my eyes got wide and I was like oh no. My step dad was an attorney and for a substitute judge in Virginia and I was raised that you show respect for judges and you do what the judge says. I’m not in the legal profession but I would be appalled if I saw that in person.

Disrespectful to the judge and basically the entire system by calling out the lone juror the day of the decision. And the fact he keeps bringing him up is uncalled for.

Do you think Reddington is taking that position bc he’s a man? I am a woman (now 64) and was a litigator for decades. I was a self-assured one, but I walked the line when it came to respect. I was concerned that a judge would call me uncivil and that would hurt my client. My client making his/her best impression through me and me maintaining credibility was my motivation. Agree?

I’ve wondered if they (judge and Reddington) have a relationship outside of the courtroom and that makes Reddington feel so confident speaking to judge like that and also has the judge backing down a little.
