This guy was born in the 1850s and lived to see the world of the 1960s approaching. He experienced the transition from horse-drawn carriages to modern automobiles, from handwritten letters to television broadcasts, and from the American frontier to the modern United States. His lifetime basically covered an entire transformation of human civilization. Imagine explaining smartphones, the internet, and modern technology to someone whose childhood began before the Civil War. 💀
