@ghostyxbilz: #NESTLE || nestle is the largest food and beverage company in the world, and one of the most corrupt. nestle’s supply chains have repeatedly been implicated in child labor, forced labor, and child trafficking. they also aggressively market breast-milk substitutes to low-income mothers in developing countries, which contributed to infant illness and death from unsafe water. although nestle has faced class-action lawsuits brought by former child laborers seeking accountability for forced labor conditions, the abuses persist every single day. additionally, nestle often drains local aquifers and watersheds during severe droughts, and investigations found they extracted millions of gallons more water from local creek networks than it was legally entitled to. nestle has consistently ranked among the world’s top plastic polluters and operations linked to the palm oil and cocoa supply chains have contributed to illegal deforestation in fragile tropical ecosystems. it is hard to, because they own almost everything, but please STOP buying products from nestle as much as you possibly can, and spread the word. take action to support the communities deeply affected by nestle’s actions, and take action to support and save your planet. || #climatechange #globalwarming #fyp #abuseawareness \\
