@simply.jennie13: Replying to @simply.jennie13 🧈 GARLIC BUTTER DINNER ROLLS | Thanksgiving Made Simple 🦃 INGREDIENTS 3 cups flour (up to 3½ cups as needed) 3 tbsp sugar 2¼ tsp INSTANT / RAPID RISE yeast (1 packet) ½ tbsp salt 1 cup milk 4 tbsp butter, melted 1 egg EGG WASH 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk GARLIC BUTTER TOPPING 3 tbsp butter, melted 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tbsp chopped parsley DIRECTIONS 1. Warm milk + melted butter, then whisk in the egg. Make sure it's 105–110°F. 2. Add flour, sugar, instant yeast + salt to your mixer with the dough hook. 3. Pour in the wet ingredients + knead 6–8 min. Add more flour a little at a time if the dough is too sticky. 4. Cover + let rise 30–60 min until doubled. 5. Weigh the dough + divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll into balls. 6. Place in a greased 9x13 pan. Cover + let rise 30–45 min. 7. Brush with egg wash. 8. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 min until golden. 9. Brush with garlic butter + sprinkle with parsley. Serve warm! ⭐ YEAST NOTE: I use INSTANT / RAPID RISE yeast, so there's no need to bloom it. It goes right in with the flour. Using ACTIVE DRY yeast instead? Stir it into the warm milk (105–110°F) with a pinch of the sugar and let it sit 5–10 min until foamy, then add the butter + egg and continue with step 2.
