@2high2handl: a couple nights ago while waiting in line to get into a bar for Halloween I witnessed some absolutely disgusting behavior from a grown man. he was upset because people were cutting the line, which i understand can be frustrating but instead of addressing the situation like an adult, he decided to start verbally attacking women around him, repeatedly calling girls fat and making degrading and misogynistic comments. to no surprise EVERY single man just stood there. they just watched and listened. when i spoke up and called out his behavior, he immediately turned his verbal attacks toward me responding with a slew of degrading and disrespectful comments as you can hear. let’s be clear a bar line is never that deep. us women should be able to go out and celebrate halloween without being subjected to this kind of disrespect. the worst part is the bouncer said we were liars because he knew the guy. we were then not allowed inside yet he was. this behavior should not be normalized or brushed off as just another drunk night out. being angry doesn’t excuse misogyny, body-shaming, or harassment. i have since got confirmation that his name is Luke/Lucas and he bartends at Scruffy Murphy’s, also in Worcester. this video was in line for The Place in Worcester, MA. this is a repost for respect of others filmed in the video.
