@mad86806: Update: Tania was adopted!!!! A2102888 Tania is at BARC as a cruelty case. She was abandoned in a high impact crate that was FULL of feces, waste and a pot of brown water. I’ll put the photos in the comments. It’s actually sickening. She has what looks to be a burn down her back, her teeth are worn down to the gums, her nails are long and she’s scarred all over her face and legs. And yet, she has a true heart of gold. She really is a perfect example of why we love dogs. Despite the cruelty that her former humans put her through, she still has found a way to love, trust, and see the good in people. It's both heartbreaking and beautiful that even after it all, she still has so much love left to give. She’s not on the euthanasia list yet, but the shelter said we can expect to see her on any day now. It should go without saying that she will potentially need patience considering her past, so please don’t expect her to acclimate immediately if you do bring her into your home.
