“If i want him to be the champion” is the problem here. It’s understandable if it was for a championship. But it’s not. It’s a clear P1 & P2. Hold position and fight later in the race. Instead he compromises his team, in the first four corners of the race & ruined a clear P1 & P2.

Max has given back a position after cutting a corner. It was actually recently on Spanish GP. He argues, but ends letting Kimi and Lewis through.

They both made a move that didn’t work which translates to a bad move. Charles didn’t force that move from Hamilton he out braked him self and was then vulnerable to Max. If he kept the place over max charles would have given the place back but it was max behind so he just runs and takes the penalty. This happens all the time and is not that crazy. Also this is a race? Was any one else annoyed watching Lando just follow charles for the last 10 laps? Cause I was ts was boring!! DO SOMETHING!!! I will always respect a move under control.

Max did give back 2 positions in Madrid this year for cutting because he cut the track in front of Lewis but Lewis lost a position to Kimi and he gave it back to Lewis to avoid penalty - but tbh in this case since the person he cut was his teammate it’s more complicated because giving back the position could cost the team so just sort of depends

They both were wrong in some kind of way but I think if Ferrari did a better pit stop Charles could have won… like, Maxs was 2.3 and Leclercs 3.7 after penalty. Then he got issue on restart but it could be different if he was 1 not 2
