So for newbies I have them use dish drying mats! Less cuts, less sewing & faster finish. Helps them feel accomplished faster & they wash well and puff up for the boxy bag. Love this series! I do these with my teenage nieces

I keep trying to put in a zipper without the zipper tabs but it never works. One side of the zipper comes out with a sharpe edge on it.

What size zipper! I’ve never sewn in a zipper so I’m nervous but going to try it! I see on Amazon you can buy zipper by the foot.
