Bill Ralston was my old boss lol I think he’s alluding to that Smock didn’t finish his forensic fellowship, because the Hamilton county coroners office (Cincinnati, OH) used to have a forensic fellowship program and it got ended abruptly because one of the fellows (there were multiple) let in a friend who was taking pictures of the corpses and posting them online. The fellow was not aware of this, they got the friend a position as a volunteer but they still ended the program.
