THE TRUTH ABOUT ANTIBIOTICS & STEROIDS IN DOGS Not every ear infection, hot spot, or tummy ache requires a vet visit and pharmaceutical intervention. Yet we’ve been conditioned to reach for drugs first and it’s harming our pets. THE REAL DAMAGE: ❌ Weakens immune system over time ❌ Destroys beneficial gut bacteria ❌ Creates antibiotic-resistant bacteria ❌ Leads to chronic, recurring health issues ❌ Makes your dog dependent on medications THERE’S A BETTER WAY: Holistic veterinarians like Dr. Judy Morgan, Dr. Karen Becker, and Dr. Michael Dym have been proving for decades that natural remedies can effectively treat common conditions WITHOUT the devastating side effects of repeated antibiotic and steroid use. ✨ Homeopathic remedies work WITH your dog’s immune system ✨ Herbal treatments address root causes, not just symptoms ✨ Gut health protocols prevent issues before they start ✨ Natural anti-inflammatories soothe without suppressing MAKING THE NATURAL SWITCH: You don’t need to gradually transition from pharmaceuticals to natural remedies, immediate switches often work better! Here’s what I use instead: 🔄 EAR INFECTIONS: Skip the antibiotics → Use mullein oil, colloidal silver, and apple cider vinegar rinses 🔄 HOT SPOTS: Ditch the steroids → Apply manuka honey, coconut oil, and silver spray 🔄 ALLERGIES: Stop the Apoquel cycle → Support with quercetin, omega-3s, probiotics, and raw feeding. Also non toxic environment. 🔄 YEAST INFECTIONS: Move past antifungals → Balance with probiotics, ACV, and eliminate carb sugar sources 🔄 INFLAMMATION: Replace NSAIDs → Soothe with turmeric, boswellia, green lipped muscles, and omega-3 fatty acids 🔄 DIGESTIVE ISSUES: Beyond antibiotics → Heal with clean fresh diet, bone broth, slippery elm, and gut-supporting herbs PEER-REVIEWED RESEARCH SUPPORTS THIS: The science is clear that many common ailments respond beautifully to natural interventions. Manuka honey for wounds, colloidal silver for infections, herbs for inflammation, probiotics for gut health. These aren’t “woo-woo” treatments they’re evidence-based protocols used by holistic veterinarians worldwide. MY MISSION: After seeing what repeated antibiotics and steroids did to dogs in my care, I committed to finding natural alternatives. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that states may continue counting mail-in ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive afterward, upholding Mississippi’s election law in a closely watched voting rights case. In a 5-4 decision in Watson v. Republican National Committee, the justices determined that federal laws establishing a national Election Day do not require election officials to receive every ballot by that date. Instead, the Court said the statutes set the deadline for casting a ballot—not when it must be delivered. Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote the majority opinion, joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and the Court’s three liberal justices. She said Congress did not include a ballot-receipt deadline in the federal election laws, meaning states have the authority to count ballots that are mailed on time but arrive after Election Day. The ruling preserves Mississippi’s law, which allows election officials to count mail ballots received within five days after the election as long as they were postmarked by Election Day. The decision also protects similar laws in 14 states and the District of Columbia, where late-arriving mail ballots are counted if they were mailed on time. Many states also have separate provisions allowing military and overseas ballots to arrive after Election Day. The Republican National Committee and Mississippi’s Libertarian Party challenged the law, arguing that federal election statutes require all ballots to be received by Election Day. The Trump administration supported that position, maintaining that Election Day should serve as both the voting and ballot-receipt deadline. Lower courts had reached different conclusions, with the Fifth Circuit ruling that federal law overrode Mississippi’s grace period. Monday’s Supreme Court decision reversed that ruling, leaving the state’s ballot-counting policy in place ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.#fyp #viral #politics
